Happy 17th Birthday Zachary!

Courageous. Faithful. Caring. Determined. Compassionate. Smart. Hilariously Funny. Loving. May 20, 2020…Today, we celebrate YOU Buddy! We miss YOU! But… How do we celebrate after a such a painful loss and a hurting heart? Our loss of Zachary is profound, and it never goes away. However, Zachary’s legacy of love convinces us that the purpose we are serving is greater than the pain we are experiencing. Zachary wanted other kids to experience Hope and Joy through the gift of LightZ … a symbol of HOPE. Today, we invite you to remember and celebrate the legacy he left behind. The mission defined for us by Zachary has allowed us to find JOY in providing LightZ of HOPE to children and families experiencing very difficult emotional and medical challenges. We hear from families almost every day and we know first-hand the challenging circumstances they are facing. Bright Spots! Our family is honored and grateful to share the first Zachary Woodard Foundation impact report. It highlights our 2019-2020 achievements, good news, and bright spots.

Hero of the Month Program launched to provide a forum to recognize and celebrate our amazing LightZ of Hope recipients. These are the kids and families that inspire and encourage us. Our Heroes! Volunteers – THANK YOU! We logged over 160 volunteer hours! That’s lots of packing folks!

Hope on the Horizon Program –
Recent events have led us to the decision to add financial assistance to our platform. We recognize that many families have been devastated financially given the unprecedented job loss that has occurred. Zachary had a big heart and he would be passionate about helping others with financial hardship or unique needs. The Zachary Woodard Foundation will thoughtfully partner with families to help meet immediate medical or household needs. How many LightZ of Hope can you make possible for children in honor of Zachary’s birthday? Participation Levels:
