Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with LightZ of Hope. Our volunteers are an integral part of our foundation, as they help us assemble and repackage the LightZ to give to children who are in need of a little hope! If you know Zachary’s story, you know that because he had spent much time in either the hospital, or his own room, his wish was to give other kids the same gift he had been given- colorful lights to brighten his room! And the LightZ that the Zachary Woodard Foundation give to children, brighten not just their rooms, but also their lives. And because our desire is to offer one to every child who needs a little cheer, we need your help!
Periodically, we will have what we call “Packing Days” where we will recruit volunteers to come in and help us assemble the packaging that the LightZ will be delivered in. We need several teams of people at differing times, since there is a step-by-step process that we go through until we have our finished product. Quite often we are packing several hundred LightZ at a time!
